  • know how to navigate and process rejections from applications.

  • be ready to celebrate job search wins and evaluate offers.

  • have learned how to negotiate an offer to move to accepting an offer.

The fourth meeting will review the holistic elements of the job search and explore the interview stage of a job application. By the end of this session you will

  • have learned techniques on how to stay motivated during a job search.

  • know how to prepare for an interview.

  • have developed interview skills through practice.

Session Three

The third meeting will build on the skills from the second meeting and look at the process of what to do next once you have found a position you want to apply for. By the end of this session you will

  • know how to stay organized through your job search process.

  • have learned how to conduct company research.

  • have the tools to submit an application and follow up as needed.

Session Two

The second meeting will expand the tools you have to search for positions and help you identify if a position is a good fit for you. By the end of this session you will

  • be equipped with all of the CPD tools to search for positions.

  • review a job description and identify core skills and responsibilities to add to adjust your professional materials.

  • understand other elements of a job search beyond the search such as networking and preparing professional materials.
